2. Why shouuld I go to a pediatric ENT surgeon?
Children are not small adults and their health needs differ greatly from adults. The successful treatment of the pediatric population requires special attention to the psychosocial dynamics of illness in children. Additional fellowship training (beyond residency) in pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat surgery allows for more comprehensive evaluation of pediatric illness. If your child needs an ENT evaluation, insist on a doctor who is a pediatric specialist.
